Klara Ana Rosa
Klara Ana Rosa is a multifaceted artist and spiritual guide whose work seamlessly intertwines music, theatre, storytelling, and ancient wisdom. As a musician, director, writer, storyteller, and Svikiro (medium and ceremonialist), Klara brings a unique blend of creativity and spirituality to everything she does. Called to Zimbabwe for spiritual work, she has dedicated her life to creating powerful, transformative experiences through ceremony-ritual theatre and performance.

As the founder and director of Mhondoro Dreams Productions and School, Klara leads a dynamic organization that has gained international acclaim. In 2020, her visionary project brought to life the Polish-Zimbabwean film NZARA-HUNGER, which was screened at Poland's prestigious Festiwal Filmów Fabularnych in Gdynia in 2021. Mhondoro Dreams Productions has garnered recognition across Zimbabwe, including winning Best Documentary Short at the Zimbabwe Annual Film and Television Awards for The Goddess in Zimbabwe. The company also received a special award from Zimbabwe Tourism Magazine for its innovative approach to connecting spiritual knowledge with the arts.

Klara is the author of several impactful books, including Wild Medicine: A Journey to Zimbabwe, Ceremony Theatre: Tales for Humans and Ancestors, and BÄ™dziemy siÄ™ za was Modlić: z Polski do Zimbabwe Åšcieżkami Przodków. Her literary works, alongside her many music albums—such as Moon Songs for Elephants and The Star Ceremony—continue to inspire and resonate with audiences worldwide.

In addition to her creative work, Klara is a dedicated teacher and healer, offering courses on divination, shamanism, and ceremony theatre, as well as one-on-one spiritual sessions. She has spent years learning and initiating on four continents (Arizona, Peru, Zimbabwe, South Africa, and Poland). She was a student of Malidoma Some for six years, and apprenticed with Medicine Man Philip Cash-Cash (Nez-Perce) in Arizona. She has also learned from many Vasekuru and Vaambuya in Zimbabwe, where the Spirit called her. Her Astrology teachers include Maurice Fernandez and Susan Hopkinson. She is a graduate of Rice University (B.MUS and B.A.), Yale University (M.A.) former U.S. Fulbright Scholar and Thomas J. Watson Fellow, currently pursuing a PhD at UNISA on Star Mythologies and Great Zimbabwe, and earning a certificate in Evolutionary Astrology.

Klara also leads the Nyamatsatse Festival, an annual spiritual festival-ceremony in Zimbabwe that has become a significant event since its inception in 2022.

Through her art, teaching, and spiritual guidance, Klara Ana Rosa continues to build bridges between ancient traditions and contemporary expression, creating spaces where old mythologies and new stories converge in powerful, life-changing ways.
